Bipasha Basu has been appointed brand ambassador for a diamond jewellery brand. She has launched its Valentine’s Day range called ’season of love’ at the Taj Land’s End in Mumbai.She has been signed to promote this new range of jewellery by Gitanjali Group.

Hot sexy icon of Bollywood, Bipasha Basu has signed for the character of Mandodari, the favorite wife of Ravan. This is for ace director Maniratnam’s magnum opus trilingual film “Ravann/Ashokvanam”. It is learnt that Bipasa has a 20 days shoot for a 40 minute role in the film. So she is going to act opposite Vikram.

Earlier Sushmitha Sen was offered with this role but she has turned down it for the reasons. Ravana has huge star cast with Aishwarya Rai, Abhisheik Bachchan and Vikram in the lead roles.
