Vikram launches ‘Karan Arjun’ movie

A yesteryear Hindi movie with the same title ‘Karan Arjun’ turned to be the most highlighting flick in the career of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Now, a debutant filmmaker Saga strikes with a film with the same title in Tamil. The film features newcomers Amod and Sathya in lead roles and even the technicians are making their debut with it.

The film was launched yesterday morning at AVM Studios with actor Vikram and director S.A. Chandrasekhar gracing over the occasion.

Turning lights on this film, Saga said, “The film is a triangular love story set in completely contrastive backdrops of love, thrill and mystery. A gunslinger arrives in Kodaikanal for a mission and falls in love with a beautiful missy played by Akshara. Sooner as a group of cops arrive to trace the sharpshooter. Finally, when the girl realizes his love, it’s too late…”

The complete film is scheduled to be shot at Kodaikanal for a full-fledged stretch of 45 days.

To prove their point they have even erected a huge cut out towering 50 feet of Tamannah at the theatre releasing her latest film 'Paiyaa and performed ‘palabishekam’. Thuthukudi fans have also given her the title 'Thangapathumai' and call the newly formed association ‘Agila Indhiya Thangapadhumai Tamannah Rasigar Narpani Mandram'.

Hope they don’t stoop to new levels of indecency by venturing out to build a temple for the actress.

But still nobody could gauge the independent star value of Tamannah till now as all her films so far have been with big saleable mass heroes. Does any film sell on the value of Tamannah as it did once for Revathi or Nadhiya?

The face of the concerned person cannot be seen.
The duration of this scene is only 4 seconds. You will know the importance of the scene if you see this film. I am also a woman and I will not keep the scene which will tarnish the image of a girl. There will be no vulgarity in this scene.

While speaking to the media, she said,” I am a donning a different kind of role which I have not done so far in this film Swetha ,5/10 Wellington Colony. I am a rich girl in this film. I am studying in college.
I have a boy friend. When there is no one in the house. I invite my boy friend. There is a swimming scene before he comes. I wore a swim suit and acted in this scene. At first I was reluctant to act in this scene.
Director Sanjay and Producer Shankar explained to me about the significance of the scene. So I acted boldly in swim suit. The director and the producer told me that the swim suit was suitable for me. As per the story, villain will enter my house before my boy friend come. The villain will try to rape me. We shot this scene for two days. One should have the boldness to act in rape scenes as well in donning swim suits. Then only the scene will come out well. . I hope I will earn a lot of appreciations once Swetha is released.”
