Versatile actor Kamal Hassan who recently completed 50 years of cinema is upset for not recognizing for one of the biggest film festivals in India (The International Film Festival of India). ACtors like Sharmila Tagore, Asha Paresh and Soumitro Chatterjee are also a part of this festival but not Kamal. Kamal Hassan when asked if Bollywood is given preference over South Indian film industry, he said that “No it usually happens. The fault is also ours, we don’t represent ourselves well. We don’t go to meetings, we don’t participate. They make do with whoever is participating. It’s a diverse culture, there should be unity in diversity.”
